For my last trip, I decided to try several Clinique products that I have been planning to test for a long time. In fact, I decided it after looking at the Travel Cosmetics category in Notino, which has travel size products, and saw the Clinique 3 Steps set . It is super compact and contains a 50ml cleansing gel, a 100ml cleansing tonic and a 30ml moisturizing gel, all three products are for blended to oily skin. Today I tell you what my impressions of the three products are and how they affect my skin.
First of all, I want to say that the cuts and the packaging itself are ideal for travel. They take up little space and nothing spilled or spilled in the suitcase during the trip.
Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Oily skin formula – I start with the product I liked the most. Cleansing gel for combination to oily skin, which cleans my skin very well without leaving a tense feeling. It definitely suited me perfectly for the summer. In fact, come to think of it, this is the most important step for me – washing my face. Whether it’s morning or evening, that is, whether I have makeup or not, because my skin is oily, I need a good cleanser for the morning. The gel is very economical. At home I use Lancome cleansing mousse, which has become my favorite.
Clinique Clarifying Lotion Twice a day Exfoliator– This is the second step after washing the face – cleaning with a swab with lotion. I missed this step for more than half a year. Even in my last article on facial cleansing, I wrote that I now prefer to skip cleansing with tonics, micellar waters and other lotions. On the one hand, because I thought washing with gel + sponge was effective enough, and on the other – to avoid consuming cotton swabs daily. Actually, my skin really feels good without this step, but it seems to me that sometimes I fail to clean my face well enough and this is reflected the next morning when I wake up with a new pimple. I used the lotion during my trip and it made it a lot easier for me when I went home tired from all day tours to clean my facial skin as well as possible from foundation and sunscreens.
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel for Combination to Oily skin – I couldn’t wait to try this moisturizer. It has been recommended to me many times in the shops and it is finally in my hands. It is definitely a very good product – it absorbs well into the skin, mattifies it and I personally notice smoothing of the pores or rather it seems to me that it visually stretches the skin slightly and I like this effect. The feeling after applying the cream is very pleasant and I like it as a base under makeup. I feel the hydration itself less than my favorite La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Intense Legere, but it lacks the mattifying effect. In general, there are days when I prefer one and in others – the other, depending on the condition of my facial skin. I like mattifying products, but I don’t use them every day, but several times a week.
